The consortium consisting of Atlantique Offshore Energy, GE Renewable Energy’s Grid Solutions business and SDI, has received confirmation of the order from the consortium led by EDF Renouvelables, in collaboration with Enbridge, wpd Offshore to design, manufacture and install off the coast the substation for its offshore wind farm to be built off Fecamp (Seine-Maritime), France.The consortium comprises the knowhow of Atlantique Offshore Energy, in charge of the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the substation topside and jacket foundation, of GE’s Grid Solutions, responsible for the high-voltage equipment and protection control systems design, manufacturing and commissioning, and of SDI, for the transportation and the installation of the platform.
