The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has granted permission to conduct preliminary studies for two offshore wind projects located close to Copenhagen; the Nordre Flint project and the Aflandshage project.
The results of the feasibility studies will be compiled in an environmental impact report, which must be submitted to the DEA by 31 December 2020.
The Nordre Flint project comprises of up to 16-40 offshore wind turbines with an installed capacity of 160MW. The individual turbines will have a maximum height of up to 220 metres and a capacity of 4 -10MW. The distance to the coast and other offshore wind farms is more than 8 km.
The Aflandshage project will have between 25-63 offshore wind turbines with an installed capacity of 250 MW. The individual turbines will have a maximum height of up to 220 metres and also a capacity of 4-10MW. The distance to the coast and other offshore wind farms is also more than 8 km.
