The French Ministry of Industry and Energy has selected EDF Renouvelables and Maple Power to design, build, and operate a 250 MW floating offshore wind farm.
The wind farm will be situated in the Golfe de Fos zone in the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 25 km off the coast. This project was chosen following the French government's sixth offshore wind tender.
