EDF Energies Nouvelles is continuing its expansion programme in the USA with orders for 184 wind turbines representing 276MW.
The turbines, which have a unit capacity of 1.5MW, will be supplied by GE, an established partner to enXco, EDF Energies Nouvelles's subsidiary in the United States. 50 turbines (representing 75MW) will be delivered in 2007, with the remaining 134 (representing 201MW) following in 2008. They will be used in the construction of projects in the US Midwest.
