Enshore Subsea has been awarded three initial projects under a six-year framework agreement with Nexans for cable installation in shallow waters. The projects, planned and installed by TenneT Germany, will support offshore grid connection systems, each designed to transmit 2 GW of renewable energy from the North Sea to the mainland.
Enshore Subsea will install the Wadden Sea sections of the submarine cable systems for the BalWin3, LanWin2, and LanWin4 connections, with work scheduled for 2027, 2029, and 2030. Nexans secured the three EPCI turnkey projects as part of its ongoing partnership with TenneT.
