Envision Energy has recently received a contract from JSW Energy to develop a 653.4 MW wind farm in Karnataka and Maharashtra, India. They will supply 198 units of their EN 156-3.3 MW wind turbines for this project.
 
The wind energy park is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and is estimated to generate 2200 GWh of clean energy. The wind turbines have a rotor diameter of 156 meters, a hub height of 140 meters, and a rated capacity of 3.3 MW. Envision will assemble the wind turbine components in their Pune factory, and the blades will be sourced from their facility in Trichy. Tower components will be obtained from manufacturers in Maharashtra. The wind farm is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.
