Fortum has made a final investment decision on the 75MW Solberg wind park project in Northern Sweden, announced earlier this year. According to the plan, the construction starts in summer 2016 with ground works and the wind park is expected to start production in early 2018.
Skellefteå Kraft AB (SKAB) has an option to participate in the project with a 50% share, subject to decision by their municipal owner and authority approvals. SKAB is expected to decide on their participation during the second quarter of 2016. The total investment of the whole project is approximately € 100 million.
