Deutsche Windtechnik has signed new service contracts for Vestas and Gamesa turbines with a capacity of 60MW in Sweden with Varberg Energi.
The municipal utility in Varberg commissioned the independent service provider with the maintenance of 30 wind turbines from Vestas (23x V90) and Gamesa (7x G90), with an option for 12 additional turbines. The service agreements, which are currently limited to ten years, cover complete service for the turbines, including the rotor blades and any necessary replacement of large components. The intention is to extend the contracts to cover 20 years of operation. Maintenance will be coordinated in close cooperation with the German parent company.
