Skyborn Renewables and Stadtwerke München (SWM) have reached financial close for the Gennaker offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea. The project has a planned capacity of up to 976.5 MW and is located approximately 15 kilometres north of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.
Financial close confirms that the key project agreements and financing arrangements are in place, including debt and equity financing, power purchase agreements, strategic partnerships, and major supply and installation contracts. The project is now entering its execution phase and is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of 2028.
