Goldwind has completed the hoisting of the first GWH-182/6.5 MW wind turbine at the Riyah 2 wind farm in southern Oman. The project is being developed through a partnership between Goldwind, OQ Alternative Energy and TotalEnergies.
The wind farm is located in the Dhofar and Al Wusta regions. Once fully operational, the project will provide clean power directly to Petroleum Development Oman’s facilities, reducing reliance on conventional power generation.
