Guzman Energy and Leeward Renewable Energy have announced the execution of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 145MW Panorama Wind Farm in Weld County, Colorado, USA.
The project will be Leeward’s third project in Weld County, bringing its total installed capacity in the county to 617MW. Construction of the facility begins in early July and is projected to be completed in December 2021. The Panorama Wind Farm will consist of over 60 wind turbines supplied and commissioned by Vestas. Vestas will deliver a mix of 2MW platform turbines including V120-2.2 MW, V110-2.2 MW, and V110-2.0 MW turbines. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 20 year service agreement. Turbine delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2021 and construction is expected to be completed in December 2021. Leeward will own and operate the wind farm.
