Invenergy signs virtual power purchase agreement with AT&T

Invenergy has announced that it has entered into a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with AT&T for its 300MW Thunderhead Wind Energy Center currently under construction in Nebraska, USA.

 

Thunderhead will generate enough electricity to power more than 115,000 American homes every year. In September, WEC Energy Group (WEC) announced its intention to invest in the project, securing an 80% interest in Thunderhead. The project is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2020.
