Nexans has been selected by ScottishPower Renewables as a supplier for the East Anglia Three offshore wind project, part of the wider East Anglia Hub. The project comprises an offshore wind farm located around 69 kilometres off the Suffolk coast, with an onshore cable route transmitting electricity to a converter station in Bramford.
Nexans is supplying 66 kilovolt accessories through its dedicated business unit, supporting the technical requirements of the project. The scope includes T-connectors, bushings, junction boxes, cable lugs and pre-terminated power cables.
