Nordex AG has signed a frame agreement for the supply of 30 wind turbines from the Nordex N90 series (2,300 or 2,500 kW) with the German project development subsidiary of a large European wind energy group.
This frame agreement is worth € 68 million. The agreement also contains an option for 22 further turbines in the same series. Including the extension, the frame agreement has an order value of some € 118 million. The turbines are to be delivered from the fourth quarter 2007 and until to the end of 2009. The German project developer has already called for the first turbines from the frame agreement with Nordex. Nordex will be installing 18 N90/2,300 turbines worth € 41 million on 100-metre tubular steel towers in four wind farms developed by the customer in Germany. The wind farms at Diemelsee, Wanlo and Elsdorf are due to be completed in fourth quarter of 2007.
