Nordex AG has been awarded three project contracts for the turnkey construction of seven wind farms comprising a total of 28 N90 turbines in France.
The combined value of the contracts for Nordex stands at over € 69 million. For its customer Eurocape Nordex will build the “Callengeville” project comprising three wind farms with 14 turbines in Normandy as well as the “Lislet” project with two turbines in the Region Aines. Nordex will be erecting up a further twelve turbines in three wind farms as part of the “Boulay” project for the customers Iberdrola, Poweo and Boreas in the Lorraine region in the north-east of France. For the “Lislet” project the manufacturer will supply two N90 series 2.3 MW turbines on 100 metre towers, for the other projects N90 2.5 MW LS turbines will be utilised. In addition to the delivery of the turbine, the contracts also provide for Nordex to build the access routes, foundation works and handle all electrical work including the transformer and grid connection. The turbines will be producing clean electricity as of the fourth quarter of 2007.
