Nordex has been awarded a contract for the installation of two wind farms in France. These are the Autremencourt and Vihiersois projects, which together comprise 15 N117/2400 turbines.
The contract provides for the development of the wind farms, turn-key installation and service for a period of 20 years. The customer is the energy utility of the City of Zurich ewz (Elektrizitätswerk der Stadt Zürich).
Nordex has also been awarded a further contract from OX2. The Swedish project developer has now ordered nine N117/3600 turbines. The contract entails the delivery of the turbines plus a full service contract for a period of 25 years. The site is located in the Province of Dalarna roughly 200 kilometres north-west of Stockholm. The turbines will be installed in summer 2019 and operated on behalf of the future owner Fontavis Clean Energy Investment.
