In 2018, Nordex will be supplying fourteen wind turbine with an aggregate capacity of 37.2MW in France. Starting in February, Nordex will be delivering six N117/3000 turbines for the Coesmes wind farm located around 40 kilometres south east of Rennes.
The turbines will be installed on the top of 120-metre high towers. The customer is the project developer VSB Energies Nouvelles. In addition, Nordex will be installing the Valbin wind farm near Troyes from April 2018. The project comprises eight N117/2400 turbines and also includes service for an initial period of 15 years. Developed by Eolfi, the wind farm is now owned by investor Leonidas Associates, which will be operating it.
