Nordex has received eleven orders in Germany for 50 turbines with a total of 150MW. These machines will be supplied with rotor diameters of 117 and 131 metres on hybrid towers, with hub heights of 134 and 140 metres. All orders include Premium Service contracts for a period of 15 years.
In Hesse the company will install nine N117/2400s, totalling 21.6MW in the Schwarzenberg wind farm for the Biedenkopf municipal utility and the municipality of Breidenbach. This wind farm has been developed by EAM Natur GmbH. Nordex will further equip the Gemünden wind farm with seven N117/2400s and 16.8MW for the Verbands-Energie-Werk Gesellschaft für Erneuerbare Energien mbH. For the Alsfeld-Lingelbach project in Hesse, Nordex will be supplying Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG (THEE) with nine N117/2400 turbines. THEE is a joint venture of 46 municipal utilities and regional power suppliers in the Thüga Group. The manufacturer will supply a further seven turbines of this type to e-wikom. Installation of these turbines in the Petkus wind farm in Brandenburg is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016. For the project developer ABO Wind AG, ten N131/3300s are to be installed in the 33 MW Uckley wind farm in Brandenburg. Another five N131/3000s with 15 MW will go to a wind farm in North-Rhine Westphalia for BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH.
