Nordex has received an order from OX2 to supply and install 11 N175/6.X turbines for the 77 MW Urleasca wind farm in Romania. The contract includes a 35-year Premium Service agreement.
In parallel with the turbine order, OX2 has sold the ready-to-build 77 MW Urleasca wind farm to Scatec. OX2 will manage the construction phase, which is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the second half of 2028. The project has secured a long-term Contract-for-Difference with the Romanian state.
The wind farm will be built near the village of Urleasca in Brăila County, approximately 150 kilometres northeast of Bucharest in southeastern Romania.
