OCAS AS has signed an agreement to deliver the OCAS solution to the Mehuken wind farm, owned by Danish DONG Energy, Østfold Energi and Vardar.
The radar based solution provides an on-demand system for controlling the required aviation warning lights. This allows the flashing aviation lights to remain off unless a low flying aircraft is detected flying in the vicinity of the wind farm. The Mehuken wind farm consists of a total of 13 wind turbines.
