Pentalum Technologies has increased its market presence in China with new purchase orders from three wind turbine OEMs for multiple ground-based and nacelle-mounted SpiDARs.
These orders are added to the already deployed and operating SpiDAR fleet in China, supported by Pentalum's local partner, Qingdao-based Primanex. Pentalum has focused on the emerging Chinese wind market over the last two years, with multiple SpiDAR validation campaigns in a variety of environmental conditions all across China. Pentalum also recently completed a successful trial with the China Meteorological Administration (CMA).
