Valemo has acquired two YawAdvisor wind LiDARs, developed and manufactured by the French company Epsiline. The YawAdvisor is a nacelle-mounted wind LiDAR which measures the yaw misalignment of wind turbines.
This investment is the result of a collaborative work between the two companies since two years. Together they have performed two campaigns on two different wind turbine. The first campaign has been done on a Senvion MM92 wind turbine and the second one on a GE 2.5xl. Results of these campaigns have been satisfactory and lead to the decision to invest in order to increase Valemo’s capacity to provide this service to its customers.
