REpower Systems AG has
received an order for the delivery of 100 wind turbines of the MM92 type for
the USA from American project developer enXco, a subsidiary of EDF Energies
Nouvelles.
The delivery of equipment for the two planned wind farms in the
northwestern USA state of Washington is to begin in the second quarter of 2009;
completion is scheduled for the end of 2009. The rotor blades will be produced
in North America. These projects are part of an intercontinental delivery
agreement which REpower concluded with its customer EDF EN in December of last
year. This involves the delivery of wind turbines with a total power of up to
690MW for various projects in Europe and the USA.
