REpower Systems AG and project developer Martifer Renewables have inaugurated the first of two jointly planned wind farms in Rzeszow near Krakow, Poland.
The project “Leki Dukielskie” comprises five REpower MM92 turbines,
each with a rated output of 2MW, and is located in the south-east of
the country. This is the first wind farm project undertaken in Poland
by REpower. “Bukowsko”, the second wind farm project planned by
Martifer Renewables and REpower, will comprise eight MM92 turbines and
is due to be commissioned by the end of this year. This wind farm is
also located near Rzeszow.
