SeaRoc Group has deployed its third SeaHub Communications System on the Reactive Compensation Station (RCS), at Ørsted’s Hornsea Project One offshore wind farm. The SeaHub system is supplied as an 8ft ISO DNV certified container, housing all the equipment required for communications and logistical data sharing for the 1.2GW project located 120km from shore.
The SeaHub installed on the RCS is the third to be deployed to the Hornsea Project One Offshore Wind Farm. The other two SeaHub units that SeaRoc Group provided for Hornsea Project One, utilised 10ft ISO DNV certified containers. SeaHubs incorporate a variety of self-contained safety systems, including fire suppression, environmental monitoring, climate control, fire, flood, gas and various other alarms and a UPS. All systems can be monitored and controlled over IP with SeaRoc Group’s Marine Management System, SeaPlanner.
