Senvion SE has signed four new contracts totaling over 60MW in the UK.
Located near Granthouse in the Scottish Borders, Penmanshiel wind farm, developed by RES, will consist of 14 Senvion MM82, with a total rated output of 28.7MW. Pre-construction works have recently started on site and project completion is due in autumn 2016. A 20 year service contract has also been signed for the project.
Reaps Moss wind farm is the second contract for Senvion with InfraRed Capital Partners and is located east of Bacup in east Lancashire and will consist of three Senvion 3.4M104. Once completed, the wind farm will have a total rated output of 10.2MW and installation will begin in summer 2015 and a 20 year ISP service contract has also been signed.
New Albion wind farm, located in Northamptonshire, is the third contract Senvion has signed with John Laing. The project will consist of seven Senvion MM82 with a total rated output of 14.35MW. Pre-construction works have already begun and installation of the wind turbines is due to start in January in 2015 with the project scheduled to be fully operational by January 2016.
Watford Lodge wind farm located near Daventry, Northamptonshire, is the company’s fourth contract with Broadview Energy, and will consist of five Senvion MM92, with a total rated output of 10.25 MW. Construction will start in the summer 2015 and is due for completion in autumn the same year. Senvion will also look after maintenance of the wind farm for 15 years.
