Siemens Energy has signed a contract extension with Edison Mission Energy to continue providing service and maintenance on the 70 SWT-2.3-93 wind turbines operating at the Wildorado Wind Ranch, near Amarillo, Texas.
The service agreement with Edison Mission Energy adds to the existing five-year agreement a limited warranty and availability guarantee, in addition to specified service and maintenance for five years, marking a total of 10 years at the site for Siemens' wind service operations.
