Acciona Windpower has been awarded a contract for the supply and assembly of the 57MW Çerçikaya wind farm in Turkey, owned by the company ZT Enerji Elektrik Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.?. (Zafer Group).
The contract includes the operation and maintenance of the wind farm for 10 years. The wind farm, located in Hatay province in the south of the country, will be equipped with nineteen AW125/3000 turbines. The turbines will be mounted on 87.5-meter-high steel towers. The turbines will be supplied in 2014 and 2015, and the commision the wind farm is planned for the end of February 2015.
