Siemens Energy has been awarded a contract to deliver 22 wind turbines of the SWT-2.3-108 type for the onshore wind power project Dinar in Turkey.
The customer is Olgu Enerji Uretim A.?. Each wind turbine has an output of 2.3MW, a rotor diameter of 108 meters and will be installed on 80 meter hub height steel towers. The scope of supply for this project includes the delivery, installation and commissioning as well as a five year service contract. The Dinar project will be located outside Afyon City, in South Western Turkey. Installation of the project will begin in Fall 2012, while commissioning shall be finalised in early 2013.
