Siem Offshore Contractors (SOC) has announced that SOC has been awarded the contract for the installation of the inner array grid cables as well as associated services for the Amrumbank West Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) project by Amrumbank West GmbH (AWG).
The project value is approximately US$ 60 million, whereby SOC in addition to the submarine cable installation works also will provide associated services including the marine cable route survey and engineering, route clearance operation and post-installation termination and testing works. The actual submarine cable installation works are scheduled for mid 2014.
