With an order book of Rs 33.01 billion involving the power generation of 771 MW, Suzlon Energy has started the installation process of the world?s biggest wind power project of over 1000MW in Dhule district of Maharashtra.
They are further planning to add another 500MW by the year end. The company plans to control its cost per KwH by focusing on R&D in main product areas, component areas and most importantly through backward integration. The company has recently acquired the AE-Rotor Holding BV getting 100% ownership of Hansen Transmissions International NV, Belgium.
