TGS has been awarded an offshore wind site characterisation contract in Europe. The company's vessel, the Ramform Vanguard, is scheduled to begin data acquisition in early August, with the survey expected to last approximately three weeks.
The project will use TGS's Ultra High Resolution 3D streamer technology to collect high-resolution seismic data and provide detailed imaging of shallow subsurface conditions. The data will support site assessment and development activities for an offshore wind project.
