The Danish Energy Agency has issued a feasibility study permit to Thor Wind Farm I / S. The permit has been issued following an application from the owner and the project developer RWE.

The purpose is to technically qualify the specific project so that the project's technical design, including turbine foundation design and cable design, can be carried out. In this permit, the feasibility studies consist of geotechnical sampling, including CPT, vibrocore drilling, thermal conductivity, core drilling and P-S logging. The feasibility study permit does not give Thor Wind Farm I / S (RWE) the right to build the offshore wind farm, but it does give the project developer the right to carry out feasibility studies in the project area.
