APG Group and Vasa Vind have placed an order for 288MW of V136-3.45 MW wind turbines. The order comprises 80 V136-3.45 MW turbines delivered in Power Optimised Mode to 3.6 MW for the Åskälen wind park located outside Östersund in central Sweden.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) full scope operations and maintenance service agreement. Delivery of the first turbines is planned for the third quarter of 2019, while commissioning is expected in the beginning of 2020.

Vestas has also received an order in the USA for 60 MW of V110-2.0 MW turbines for an undisclosed project in the USA. The project, which includes previously purchased PTC components, has a total size of 66MW and consists of 30 turbines. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement, a full-scope service package designed to maximize uptime and energy production. Delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2017, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter.
