Vestas has received an order from Parque Eólico de Bicentenario to supply and install 28 V117-3.45MW turbines in the Province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. The turbines will be delivered in 3.6MW Power Optimised Mode, equalling 100MW in total.
The order includes the supply and installation of the wind turbines as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM500) service agreement. Turbine delivery is planned for the fourth quarter of 2017 whilst installation is expected for the third quarter of 2018.
EDF Renewable Energy orders V110-2.0MW turbines for the Copenhagen Wind Project in upstate New York, USA.This order comprises supply of the wind turbines as well as a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreement. The project, which includes previously purchased PTC components, has a total size of 80MW and consists of 40 turbines. Turbine nacelles, blades, and towers will be produced at Vestas' Colorado factories with delivery expected to begin in the third quarter of 2018. order is part of the previously announced global master supply agreement between Vestas, EDF Énergies Nouvelles and EDF Renewable Energy for deliveries in 2016 to 2019 from Vestas.
The Australian order for 15 V126-3.45MW was placed by long-term customer Tilt Renewables for the 54MW Salt Creek wind park in Woorndoo, Victoria. The order includes a 25-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service agreement. Turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2018, with commissioning in the third quarter of the same year.
