Vestas receives 299MW order in Canada

Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 299MW for the Blackspring Ridge Wind Project in Canada from the joint venture of EDF Renewable Energy and Enbridge from Alberta, Canada.

Vestas will supply 166 V100-1.8MW turbines. The contractscope is for the supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a 20-year service and maintenance agreement (AOM 5000). Deliveries are scheduled for the second half of 2013 with commissioning expected to take place mid-2014.
