Vestas has received an order for 68MW consisting of 34 units of the V90-2.0MW turbine for the Keadby Wind Farm project near Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire, UK.
The order has been placed by Keadby Wind Farm Ltd; which is a company wholly owned by SSE. he contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution, as well as a five year service agreement. Installation of the first turbines is expected to start during the summer of 2013 and the project is due to be completed by summer 2014.
