Vestas has received an order, comprising 22 V117-3.3 MW turbines, with a total capacity of 73 MW from wpd for the Tohkoja project in Kalajoki, Finland.
The contract includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement. In addition, the contract includes the Vestas De-icing System (VDS). Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016.
