OX2 has placed an order for 31 V126-3.45MW turbines with power optimised mode to 3.6MW and Vestas' de-icing system. The turbines are for the Raskiftet wind park in the municipalities of Åmot and Trysil.
The order includes the Vestas Obstacle Collision Avoidance System (OCAS), a radar-based system that activates the turbines' aviation lights when an aircraft is operating in the immediate vicinity of the wind park. The order also includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines as well as a five-year Active Output Management service agreement (AOM5000). Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2018.
