Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for four projects from a customer in Brazil. At the customer's request, additional details about the customer and the projects cannot be disclosed.
Vestas will supply the customer with 21 V100-1.8MW wind turbines and 16 V90-3.0MW wind turbines. The contract includes the delivery, transportation and installation of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a five-year service and availability agreement. Delivery of the turbines will begin in September 2011, and the projects are expected completed by the end of 2011.
