Vestas has received a 122MW order from MidAmerican Energy Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy, for the Wind XI project in Iowa.
The order includes supply and commissioning of V110-2.0 MW turbines as well as a ten-year service agreement. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 while commissioning is planned for fourth quarter of 2019.
Vestas has also received a 40MW order of 4 MW platform compatible turbine components that qualify for the 60 percent PTC value from an undisclosed customer. These components will enable future wind energy projects that complete construction by the end of 2022.
