The firm and unconditional orders total 59MW of V117-3.45MW turbines and are Vestas' first in Honduras.
Both orders are Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts that include the supply and installation of the wind turbines as well as the electrical and civil works, substation, and access roads. Additionally, a 15-year full-scope service agreement (AOM 5000) has been signed. Turbine delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2017, while commissioning is expected for the fourth quarter of 2017.
