SCADA International has announced that OneView SCADA will be integrated at three of Westar Energy’s wind energy sites in the USA. OneView is an all-in-one OEM independent solution for renewable operation and asset management. The SCADA system will replace the existing OEM SCADA systems.
With a unified SCADA platform, Westar’s wind fleet will enable operators to monitor and control three wind projects that include Vestas V90, Siemens 2.3 and Clipper 2.5 wind turbine models. Operators, maintenance personnel, asset managers and management will have access to live and historical data along with tools to visualise and analyse the data.
