Wind energy developer Wind Capital Group has announced the signing of a power purchase agreement to provide 150MW of electricity from its Osage County Wind Energy Facility in Oklahoma to Springfield, Missouri-based Associated Electric Cooperative Inc.
The Osage County Wind Energy Facility is located west of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Wind Capital Group will own and operate Osage County Wind. Construction is projected to begin early this fall and the project is expected to come online in June 2012.
