ZX Measurement Services is supporting Vattenfall’s wind energy projects in Scotland and England with measurement campaigns combining customer-owned and rental ZX 300 wind Lidars, ZX Power systems and field services. The campaigns support wind resource assessment and noise studies.
The work combines wind Lidar measurements, autonomous power systems and field support to collect data for wind resource assessment, noise studies, environmental studies and project development. Wind Lidars are commonly used for wind resource assessment and can also support other project development activities. Their use in noise assessment studies helps developers gather data to inform project design, environmental assessments and wind farm planning.
