Asta Energy Solutions has expanded its management board with the appointment of Thomas Schneider as Chief Sales Officer and Thomas Vogl as Chief Technology Officer. Both have also been granted power of attorney and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Karl Schäcke.
Thomas Schneider will oversee global sales strategy, business development, key account management and the expansion of international customer relationships. He previously held senior roles at industrial companies, including global responsibility for sales and market development in the power transformers segment, where he built international sales organisations and led projects with utilities and original equipment manufacturers across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Thomas Vogl will be responsible for technical innovation, product and production development, and long-term technology strategy. He holds a doctorate from Montanuniversität Leoben and has more than 15 years of international industrial and leadership experience. Since joining Asta in 2018, he has held several roles, including Head of Engineering and Production Manager, with responsibility for production transformation. In 2022, he became Managing Director of Asta Elektrodraht in Oed and supported the development of a new production site in Bosnia. Since 2023, he has led the company’s European production operations.
