MetCom Group has expanded its lidar fleet with the purchase of five additional ZX 300e units from ZX Lidars. The acquisition brings MetCom’s total fleet to eleven ZX wind lidars and is intended to strengthen its rental offering, enabling deployment across multiple wind resource assessment campaigns and supporting the development of onshore wind projects, including in the Baltic region.
In addition to its lidar rental fleet, MetCom provides off-grid power supply systems, field services and maintenance to support long-term operations in remote and challenging environments. MetCom Group supports the renewable energy and telecommunications sectors across Europe, with a presence in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Baltic region.
