Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) has expanded its presence in Europe and opened a new office in Porto, Portugal.
The new office will support COP’s ambitions to unlock offshore wind in the country, including early market assessment and development activities for the proposed 2GW Nortada floating offshore wind project off the coast of Figueira da Foz. COP is currently developing a 50GW global offshore wind portfolio, of which more than 40 percent accounts for floating projects. The Portuguese office will be headed by Afonso Cesar Machado.
