Deutsche Windtechnik and Meidensha Corporation, a manufacturer of heavy-duty electrical equipment, have formed a consultancy agreement aimed at establishing Meidensha as an Independent Service Provider (ISP) for onshore wind turbines in Japan.
Under this agreement, Deutsche Windtechnik will offer advisory services and utilise its expertise to assist Meidensha in establishing an onshore service infrastructure in Japan. This support encompasses training qualified onshore wind turbine technicians and providing domestic field support. Additionally, Deutsche Windtechnik will supply Meidensha with spare parts, ranging from power electronics to large components.
