Hilde Bakken has joined the Board of Directors at European Energy. A Norwegian national, Hilde Bakken brings her experience from Statkraft, where she has worked since 2000.In 2022, she held the position of Executive Vice President of Production and Industrial Ownership before retiring to dedicate herself fully to board positions. As Executive Vice President at Statkraft, she oversaw Production and Industrial Ownership, Power Generation, and served as Chief of Staff. Prior to 2010, she held various positions within Statkraft. Bakken has also served as chairman of the board for Skagerak Energi AS, Statkraft Varme AS, Statkraft Sverige, Gidekraft AB, and Harrsele AB, and has held board positions with Trondheim Energiverk, Energi Norge, Oslo Energy Forum, Yara International, Agder Energi A/S, Øygrid, HV Cadre Holding AS, and Cadre AS. The Board of Directors at European Energy currently includes: Jens Due Olsen (Chair), Jesper Helmuth Larsen, Claus Dyhr, Jens-Peter Zink, Mikael D. Pedersen, Knud Erik Andersen, and Hilde Bakken.
